I want to begin my expressing my respect for the blog community at large. They provide a useful conduit for information, provide pressure to move issues and have emerged as a real source of people-power over the last few years (especially in the Progressive community). I do believe however that Blogs are so rife with opinion and slant/spin that many of us have begun to discount information presented there as suspect. Because so many of the Blogs we read everyday are written by manipulative partisans consisting mostly of people trying to move their agenda along it reduces the impact of all Blogs.
Poll 26 votes Show Results Blogs would be more effective if they left out the opinion... No that's thier mission. Yes, I rarely take what I read in a blog as fact. I don't care...why are you wasting my time with this stupid premise. 26 votes Vote Now! Blogs would be more effective if they left out the opinion... I watched most of the GOP debate last night and found it to be mainly a collection of sycophantic necrophiliacs with their noses snugly up a dead Presidents bottom at every opportunity (I read somewhere Gulliani invoked Reagan 19 times)...all this didn't surprise me one bit however, one moment actually shocked me. When the moderator asked for a show of hands to see who on the stage DID NOT BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION...3 GOP hands shot up in the air!

It's obvious that American's, except for a shrinking few, have decided Bush is a poor leader. They view him as shallow and stubborn and hypocritical. They blame him for the war and Kartina, and a host of other messes his administration has bungled(and the blame is well placed!). The Democrats find themselves riding the strongest wave of support in the country for Progressive ideas for more than a decade. The country is so sick of the way Bush and the Republicans have run the country over the last six years that the '08 elections are literally in the palm of our hands...http://
